  MDConnect is not the largest ISP, however we strive to be the best. We have engineered our network with reliability and security in mind. We maintain multiple redundant IP Transit Connections, Redundant Core Routing facilities, and geographically diverse Network Operations Centers(NOC's). Our Network Operation Centers are climate controlled and utilize protected power sources. This methodology protects us (and more importantly you) from equipment failures, power events, inclement weather, and that random cable cut.

  MDConnect has been providing service since 1991. Most of our existing clients have been with us since the beginning. MDConnect withstood the punishment that the Internet Industry underwent in 2001 due to a management strategy that is focused on controlled growth rates and client focus. We do not maintain the "Field of Dreams" mentality (if we build it they will come) that many of the "now defunct" Internet companies maintained. Instead we focus on the client and the clients needs to ensure that they are receiving the level of service they expect & deserve.

  Our network is "Built for Speed". Our routing policies are designed to get your Internet traffic to its destination (and back) via the best (and fastest) possible transport. Our hosting facility and server systems (Unix and Windows) are integrated directly into our backbone network giving them direct access to all Transit connections.

• Security

  The MDConnect Core Network runs strictly on Cisco Systems Hardware. Cisco Systems is the leader in Internet networking hardware solutions and provides an extremely reliable and technically capable platform by which to deliver services. MDConnect provides and array of technical solutions to meet any/all of your Web Hosting needs, relying on the Apache and Stronghold Web platforms in our Unix environment, and the IIS Platform in our Windows environment. Database technologies available are MySQL for the Unix & Windows environments.
